No he pogut evitar pensar aquests dies, des que es va fer pública la pregunta de la consulta, amb la cançó "Ask" (preguntar) de The Smiths.
Més enllà del títol la cançó amaga versos que aplicats al context actual prenen, ben segur, un sentit diferent al que Morrisey i companyia van donar-los inicialment.
Un dels versos diu que "si no és l'amor, serà la bomba el que ens unirà". Aquí per bomba podria llegir-s'hi el conflicte... La Via Catalana n'és un exemple...
Però el vers que m'agrada més és el que diu: "si hi ha quelcom que t'agradaria provar, digues-m'ho i no diré que no, com podria?" És evident, sense amor no hi ha confiança... I ara, entre Catalunya i Espanya, no hi ha precisament amor...
Preguntar... que complicat, a vegades, preguntar!
