Hi ha grups de música que arrosseguen alguna llegenda, ja sabeu, alguna història mig veritat, mig mentida... Una de les de "Bad Company" té a veure precisament amb el seu nom, que hi ha qui atribueix a la inspiració de la pel·lícula homònima, "Bad Company", aquí titulada "Pistoleros en el infierno", de la que Paul Rodgers n'era fan confés, tot i que mai s'ha conformat del tot.
El nom del grup, però, també podria ajudar-nos a definir la seva pròpia composició, doncs "Bad Company" és una de les considerades "super bandes", grups de música formats per músics que ja han triomfat bé en solitari, bé en altres formacions. ja sabem què passa amb les "males companyies"!
En el cas de "Bad Company", en la seva formació inicial estava format per Paul Rodgers i Simon Kirke (Free), Boz Burrell (King Crimson) i Mick Ralphs (Mott the Hoople). El grup, format al 1973 va publicar el seu primer disc el 1974 amb "Swan Song Records", segell discogràfic creat per Led Zeppelin; va ser precisament aquest disc el primer que va publicar la discogràfica. El disc va assolir un gran èxit de vendes i és un dels inevitables dels referents del grup, acompanyat, entre d'altres, amb la caçó que destaco avui, "Can't Get Enough".
Ara que el pop sembla que s'imposa al rock, tal vegada us vindrà de gust veure i escoltar un grup de rock dels anys setanta!
