#MinutsMusicals del 1974 amb "Dreamer" de Supertramp

Supertramp als anys '70 del segle passat!

L'any 1974 el grup de "rock progressiu" Supertramp publicava "Crime of the Century", el seu tercer disc. Més enllà de la valoració artística (qüestió de gustos) els dos primers discs del grup britànic no van tenir massa èxit comercial i per al tercer disc  Rick Davies i Roger Hodgson van introduir canvis al grup.

"Crime of the Century" va suposar el primer èxit comercial de Supertramp, arribant a ser el quart lloc a la llista de discs més venuts al Regne Unit. Si bé és cert que els grans èxits del grup van arribar més endavant (com escoltareu més avall), hi ha cançons dels dos primers treballs de Supertramp que personalment m'encanten... Coses de la crítica, del mercat o la indústria musical i discogràfica!

En tot cas gran part de l'èxit d'aquest tercer disc de Supertramp és per culpa d'aquesta cançó, "Dreamer", que en la seva primera estrofa diu: somiador, saps que ets un somiador...

Potser a partir d'aquesta cançó Roger Hodgson, ànima del grup, va començar a somiar grans cançons com la incombustible "Logical Song", una de les cançons bandera de Supertramp!
