El passat 27 de gener de 2014 s'apagava una de les veus més polítiques i compromeses del panorama musical nord americà i mundial, del segle XX: Pete Seeger.
Armat amb una guitarra o un banjo de cinc cordes cançons seves com "Where Have All the Flowers Gone?" o "If I Had a Hammer (The Hammer Song)" van esdevenir himnes i ho són avui encara, com "We Shall Overcome", cançó protesta pels drets civils que ell va ajudar a popularitzar prenent-la del gospel i passant-la pel seu folk.
Per avui, però, recuperem una cançó, "Well may the world go", publicada l'any 1974 dins el disc "Banks of Marble and Other Songs", una cançó que ens diu que el món seguirà quan ell sigui lluny...
