El vídeo de la setmana: el pupurri històrico-musical de les SketchShe

Avui tornem a entrar al cotxe d'aquestes tres noies que formen el trio humorístic SketchShe (ja les havíem vist amb la seva particular interpretació del Bohemian Rhapsody) per fer un viatge en el temps de la música pop contemporània. No és un repàs a la història de la musica, sinó una pinzellada de la més recent, la dels darrers 90 anys!

Sense baixar del seu cotxe viatjarem a través del temps acompanyats de conegudíssimes cançons de The Andrew Sisters, Elvis Presley, The Beatles, Queen, Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Nirvana, Dr. Dre, Britney Spears, Eminem, Beyoncé, Gotye, Mcklemore and Ryan Lewis i Miley Cyrus!

No patiu, sigueu de la generació que sigueu, si algun nom d'artista o grup no el coneixeu, doncs les cançons us sonaran, sinó totes, la immensa majoria!

És clar que en aquest cas la música és tan sols el millor pretext, o l'excusa perfecta, d'aquest trio femení per parodiar artistes i cançons només com elles saben fer-ho, i malament no ho fan!

El vídeo de la setmana: "Somebody That I Used to Know" a guitarra i 8 mans!

El que en anglès en diuen "cover" (coberta) nosaltres en diem versió, i un grup que es dedica a fer versions en anglès és una "cover band", un grup de versions, que diríem aquí, tot i que així, en català, no sona tan modern...

"Walk off the Earth" és un grup canadenc de música "indie" d'aquells poc convencionals... Molts dels vídeos que publiquen a YouTube són de versions de temes d'ara i de sempre amb un punt original.

El que destaquem avui és la versió del conegut tema "Somebody That I Used to Know" de Gotye, que el grup interpreta al voltant d'una guitarra...

Els "covers", les versions, són un ja quasi un producte musical més i YouTube en va ple, no només de grups o solistes consolidats, sinó sobretot de músics amateurs que troben a YouTube el millor altaveu per fer-se sentir i, si és possible, escoltar.

Vídeos com el d'avui no només es fan escoltar, també es fan mirar!



Aquesta és la cançó i el vídeo originals de Gotye, qui per moltes (i molts?) no només és de bon escoltar, sinó sobretot de molt bon veure!

Hi ha cançons impossibles d'evitar! Hi ha cançons que per més que canviïs el dial de l'emissora de ràdio sempre te les trobes, hi ensopegues! És el què tenen alguns "hits" o, encara pitjor, les "cançons d'estiu"...

Però un "hit" o una "cançó d'estiu" no sempre destorben quan te les trobes, n'hi ha que són de bon escoltar, de molt bon escoltar, com aquesta de Gotye, cançó i cantant que inevitablement et fan pensar en Sting, "algú que jo coneixia"... i no per casualitat!
